Libby, our daughter, and her husband have 2 boys. Our son, "Tapper" and his wife have 2 girls...they all live close to us, so we are fortunate to be able to see our family almost everyday. I enjoy scrapbooking and sewing for my grandchildren. I have an embroidery business that I run from our home...I monogram and do childrens appliques.
My greatest pleasure is babysitting my grandchildren...they fill my heart with love and happiness!! I am very blessed!

Systems Software Tester for Aflac Married 3 1970 1 1970 After high school, I went to Bessemer Tech for computer programming. I went to work for the phone company. I got married in 1972 and had my first child (son) in 1976. I divorced in 1979. Rough years between 80 and 84, but then I found the love of my life (Tony Woodard). We married in 1986. He had a 5 year old son, and we had a daughter in 1987(so we have a mine, his, and ours). We have been married 25 years this December. God has truly blessed me with my husband and family. I have worked for Aflac for 20 years and love what I do. Tony and I are active in our church, he plays the bass guitar and I sing. We also love to ride our Harley Road King, go to a movie at least once a week (I go for the popcorn), and keep our granddaughter as much as we can. We love to camp and travel and just spend time together.
I love love love this website and I'm looking forward to the reunion, even if I don't remember a single soul. I'll meet some new friends. Send Sharon a MessageSend Sharon a Message

RN, ONC Married 1 1971 2 grandpups and 4 great grandpups, Boston Terriers 1971 Life has been like a rollercoaster ride and boy what a trip! God is so good and has truly blessed me with a wonderful daughter, Lucy O’Kelley and my husband, Armando Piatti.
I am a RN with a certification in orthopedics but have worked in OB/GYN for the last five years.
My passions include history and families. Besides being a professional genealogist, I am about to finish a book of historical pictures of Homewood. The Daughters of the American Revolution, Daughters of the American Colonists, Daughters of Colonial Wars and the United Daughters of the Confederacy are societies in which I am active. Each of these organizations promote God, home and country with an emphasis on our veterans, soldiers, and education and they also endow many scholarships

Gardening is another passion. "I plant the seeds and pull the weeds and God grows the flowers". Through His generosity, over the years, I have been able to share hundreds of vases, baskets and jars of flowers with friends, patients, church members and even strangers. My gardens are full of pass along plants that friends have shared and family members have passed down to me.

Last year my husband fulfilled his life long dream of owning a sailboat. It is such an experience sailing on the gulf aboard a 30 foot boat! I love it! Yea, for my captain and sunscreen.

Enough about me! I can’t wait to hear what you have been up to for the past 40 years. It has been such a joy working with this reunion committee and being a voice from the past to unsuspecting classmates.

I hope to see YOU in August!
